We are seeking a Senior Product Manager, to take full ownership of our Power Grid Resilience product line. You will be responsible for a multi-disciplinary product which includes hardware, embedded software, as well as a cloud-based AI engine, a complex data collection operation and an elaborate customer GUI. You will engage directly with highly-demanding Power Utilities around the world, with mission-critical needs. You will need to understand their requirements, find the common ground for all customers, and direct R&D what to develop in order to reach customer satisfaction.
The Senior Product Manager reports to Prisma Photonics VP Product.
- Be a champion of the Power Utilities Grid Resilience market – understand the market, current offerings, gaps and opportunities.
- Write product requirements for new products and features maximizing customer reach while minimizing product derivatives. Requirements encompass hardware, software, AI, data collection and GUI definitions.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of the product – from conception, through customer pilots, deployments, continuous feature releases and end-of-life. Push the organization to reach its Product goals.
- Be a focal point for management and peers across the company for all Power Grid Resilience product needs.
- Develop written materials such as customer reports, presentations, one-pagers, user guides, etc.
- B.Sc. degree in a relevant field; M.Sc./Ph.D. is an advantage
- Experience managing complex hardware-software systems.
- At least 5 years experience as a product manager for a multidisciplinary product.
- At least 5 years experience in relevant R&D roles (hardware, system, algo).
- Customer facing experience.
